Impulsive, irresponsible, stubborn, day-dreamer, childish… that’s how I am often described by those who know me best and they’re kind of right. But first of all I am passionate. Passionate about life, nature and the animal world.
I love to start my day before dawn to feel the Earth waking up, walk all day long in the forest, listen to the silence, feel the cold wind on my face, read a book on a river bank, look at the stars and so much more. Doing that gives me a sense of freedom and immortality.
The world is too big and amazing not to be explored, therefore I spend most of my spare time traveling or hiking. I crave for untouched land and mountains; places where there are no footsteps and no light pollution to hide the Milky Way.
My dreams include visiting the temples of Angkor Wat, hiking the 450km of the Kungsleden in midnight sun, stand in awe of the Northern Lights, go on a cruise to Antartica. Get lost in the world to be whole.
Douglas H. Everett said “There are some people who live in a dream world, and there are some who face reality; and then there are those who turn one into the other.”
That’s what I want to do.
